Janice Ashworth BA
I am a Self representing Artist who’s work is available through Wellydog Gallery at Clevedon Craft Centre
I teach workshops and demonstrate mostly in watercolour and Acrylics but am expanding this to include pastels and print making.
Personal development in my own Art Practice is important in keeping my teaching and Art skills current.
I love exploring new mediums and subjects and so my work is an eclectic mix of watercolours, pastels and acrylics.
My currently love is water and especially waves, I have seem my work develop in a more fluid way while still maintaining the detail I love, something I am keen to continue.
Gaining my Degree as a mature student was a dream come true and has given me a longing to help others achieve their ambitions in art. I want to dispel the idea that Art is just for naturally talented people. I believe everyone should have the opportunity to realize his or her potential and enjoy the journey to being more creative.
